She's still half leaning on him as they walk, much bolder than she would be normally, than she would be if she were sober. She doesn't question why it feels so natural to be close to him like this, she just allows herself to enjoy it.

She lets go of him reluctantly so she can take the water bottle. She doesn't know why but she trusts him. And that's enough to get her to drink from the water. It's cool and refreshing; she hadn't even realized how thirsty she still was until she started drinking.
